How do I get to St. John's College?

 

DIRECTIONS TO ST. JOHN'S COLLEGE

·        From Route 50, take Exit 24, Rt. 70S/Rowe Boulevard towards Annapolis.

·        Stay straight to go onto Rowe Boulevard.  (Rowe Boulevard turns into Bladen Street after College Creek.)  

·        At third traffic light, turn left onto Calvert Street (at detour). At stop sign, turn right onto St. John's Street.  Entrance to Key Auditorium is on the left.

Where can I park?

·        Parking is NOT available on St. John's College campus due to construction and other restrictions.   This includes the parking lot directly outside of Key Auditorium.  Warning - cars may be towed.    

·        Free parking is available in the new Bladen Street Garage, also known as the Calvert Street Garage, located on the corner of Bladen & Calvert Streets.  The garage offers free parking from 6pm to 6am weekdays, and all weekend long.  Any vehicle left after 6am will be towed.. 

·        Street parking is available on St. George's Street (Route 450 side of college).  You will have to walk across campus to Key Auditorium. 

·        Public parking is also available at Gotts Court Garage at Annapolis Visitor's Center.  From Rowe Boulevard, pass College Creek, stay in right lane.   At traffic light, make left onto Northwest Street.  Garage is on right.

Where do I pick up my tickets?

You can pick up your reserved tickets the day of the show at the Talent Machine Box Office located in the lobby area of Key Auditorium. Box Office opens 1 hour before show time. Tickets must be picked up no later than 5 minutes before show time.   After that time, seats may be released to another party.

Will you mail me my tickets?

No, we do not mail tickets.  All tickets are held at the box office for pick up on the day of the show.

How do I pay for the tickets?

·        Payment is by check only.  No credit cards.

·        Make check payable to "Talent Machine Company" or "TMC".

·        In memo section of check, write date and time of show and number of tickets ordered. 

·        Mail payment to Talent Machine Company, P.O. Box 6418, Annapolis, MD  21401.

How do I know if you received my payment?

Your processed check serves as your receipt of payment.  If you have any concerns, please call the Box Office at 410-956-0512.

How do I get the seats I want?

All seating is reserved and assigned based upon when we receive your payment by check.  We do not guarantee requests for seating preferences.  We will try to accommodate your request and you will be assigned the best available seats at the time we receive your payment.  So the sooner you pay, the better your seating.  Advanced reservations are strongly recommended.  There are limited, if any seats available at the door.  So do not delay in placing your ticket order and mailing your payment.

Do I need a ticket for my baby or toddler?

It depends.  Your baby (12 months and under) does not need a ticket if you will be holding your baby during the entire performance.  Otherwise, you will need to purchase a ticket for your child.  We offer special pricing of $8 per ticket for children, age 8 and under.  Please consider requesting aisle seating to allow for an easy exit just in case your baby or toddler is disruptive during the performance.

Are group discounts available? 

Group discounts are available for groups of 20 or more at $10 per ticket. This is a $2 discount off the General Admission ticket price and cannot be combined with any other discount offers.  We do not discount the special ticket price for children 8 and under.  For group ticket sales, call The Talent Machine Company at 410-956-0512 ext. 1 and leave a message. We will return your call.

Can you accommodate people with disabilities?

Yes, in most cases, we can accommodate people with disabilities.  People in wheelchairs should request aisle seating.  Hearing or seeing impaired people should request seating as close as possible to the stage.  We will try to accommodate your particular situation.  However, we cannot guarantee any seating preferences.  In the comment section of the order form, please indicate that seating is requested to accommodate your particular disability.  In addition, handicapped parking is available in the Maryland State employee parking lot, located on the right side of Calvert Street.

What if I want to cancel my paid ticket reservation?

There no refunds or changes allowed to the reservation once tickets have been purchased.

Are gift certificates available?

You can order tickets for family, teachers, and other guests; and we will issue a gift certificate in their name. There is an additional charge of $1.00 to mail the certificate to you or your guest.  In the comment section of the order form, indicate that you would like a gift certificate issued; include guest name and mailing address.  In addition, the recipient of the gift certificate will be required to reserve tickets in advance to assure availablilty of seating.

What is the annual holiday show about?

The Holiday Show features the Talent Machine Company kids performing seasonal numbers. Children of all ages will enjoy the fast-paced, energetic stage show.    The show has a variety of singing, dancing, and lots of action.  Santa Claus, Frosty the Snowman, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer are featured.  The cast is made up of our local talented youth, ages 6 to 18 years old.  Most are experienced stage performers and have training in voice, dance, and acting.

How long is the show?

The show is approximately 2 hours, including a 15-minute intermission.

Can I take pictures or videotape the show?

No! Photographing and videotaping during the show performance is strictly prohibited.  After the show, the cast members will be in the lobby to meet you.  At that time, you can take pictures of your child with the cast members as well as get their autographs.

What arrangements are available if I'm celebrating a special occasion? 

You can reserve a table in the lobby for parties. You can bring your own refreshments or purchase refreshments from our concession stand.  We will also announce the special occasion. In the comment section of the order form, indicate that you would like to reserve a table to celebrate your special occasion.  We will then contact you to reserve your table.

Are refreshments available?

Refreshments are available.  Soft drinks, bottled water, snacks, and candy can be purchased in the lobby prior to the show and during intermission.  Refreshments cannot be taken into the theater.

Are backstage tours available?

You can request a complimentary backstage tour for your group. The 15-minute tour is conducted by our stage manager/crew.  All members of your group must be present at the scheduled time to start the tour.  In the comment section of the order form, indicate that you are interested in a backstage tour for your group.   We will contact you to schedule your time.

How can I talk to someone about my order or reservation?

There are two ways.  In the comment section of the order form, indicate that you would like to have us call you back. Please include your telephone number on the order form.  You also can call The Talent Machine Company at 410-956-0512 ext. 1, and leave your name and telephone number.  Either way, we will call you to discuss your order or reservation.

Will the show be canceled due to inclement weather?

Any show cancellation will be posted on this web site and The Talent Machine Company reservation line (410-956-0512).  We will post any cancellation at least 3 hours before show time.
